Aspect of the interior of the ovary observed with the objective of 10x. We can identify some fertilized seminal rudiments united to the placenta through the funiculus. In each rudiment appear the integuments and the nucellus around the embryo sac. Inside the embryo sac, we can see remains of endosperm, the embryo at early development stage, the basal cell of the suspender and the antipodals cells. Details of a seminal rudiment are observed at higher magnification in other microphotography (zone framed in red)
