Structure of a complete vascular bundle observed with the objective of 40x. Towards the outside of the vascular bundle and surrounded by cortical parenchyma (yellow) appears a bundle of sclerenchyma fibers. Towards the interior are shown part of the phloem, the position of the cambium, and the elements of the xylem. In this last one, we can see the metaxylem, more externally located, and the protoxylem, more internally located. Around the vascular elements are located cells of the medullar parenchyma
