The epidermis of most leaves shows dorsoventral anatomy: the upper (adaxial) and lower (abaxial) surfaces. We can observe both surfaces, as well as the mesophyll (constituted by parenchyma) and one of the vascular bundles (yellow) showing sclerenchyma fibers in the superior and inferior part.
