Detail of a seminal rudiment observed with the objective of 40x.
We can discern the
embryo sac,
showing the
egg cell
in one of the poles, next to the two
synergid
cells. In the other pole appears one of the three
antipodal
cells. Next to the center are insinuated one of both
polar nuclei
and several
vacuoles.
Around the sac we can see the cells that compose the
nucellus
and, more externally, part of the
integuments.
Finally, it is also visible part of the
internal epidermis
of the ovary and the surrounding
parenchyma
(yellow)
