Instructions to Authors

We are not accepting new submissions at the moment

Although until 2012, authors were expected to have had some contact with the Jaen Approximation Project or had been invited to contribute, now any researcher is invited to submit to the journal his/her contribution on approximation theory and its applications in their broadest sense.

The contributions may be of the following types: research articles, surveys, open problems and historical notes.

Any material published in the Jaen Journal on Approximation represents the opinions of the author and should not be construed to reflect the opinions of the Editor and the Publisher.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use the Jaen Journal on Approximation LaTeX package which may be downloaded from the Formats and files section, of the left hand side menu bar, which contains instructions on how to prepare the manuscripts and all the necessary files.

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically by email to jja@ujaen.es in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.

The Director will send the submitted manuscripts to the Editors-in-Chief and Managing Editor. The Managing Editor will inform authors about the manuscripts.

Authors, reviewers and editors send and receive all correspondence by e-mail and no paper correspondence is necessary.

Once an article is accepted, authors are requested to send the original source files to the Director jja@ujaen.es. PDF files containing galley proofs will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author.

Authors will receive a PDF file of the paper and a copy of the issue which includes it. To reprint more than 100 copies is not permitted. Reprints are not to be sold. No reprints will be supplied by the Publisher.

Authors will be granted with online access (IP address) during a year to the Jaen Journal on Approximation (they must send their IP address to jja@ujaen.es). Moreover, authors will get discounts in the activities of the Jaen Approximation Project.

Institutions will be granted with online access (institutional IP range) during a year when a member publishes a paper in the Jaen Journal on Approximation (Authors must send the institutional IP range to jja@ujaen.es).
